Started in 1968 with an annual fee of £15 to include all meals except for the annual installation meeting. Cantelupe outgrew the facilities available at Ilkeston Freemasons Hall with offsite dining in the Co-op. Closure of the Regency rooms and increasing member numbers prompted the move to Cleve Lodge Long Eaton.
Cantelupe’s members deliver quality ceremonies. We recently have performed a triple initiation, second and third degrees with father officiating. Members are active in Derbyshire Motorcycle Lodge and Classic Car Lodges.
