Mundy Grove was borne out of the Erewash Valley industrial revolution in 1844, when ‘coal was king’. The 3rd oldest Lodge in Derbyshire, its location was strongly represented by the working-class man and supported by a leading ‘coal lord’ and esteemed local politicians. A strange, but successful mix.
Within Mundy Grove Lodge we emphasise the core values of Freemasonry; that of Integrity, Friendship, Respect and Charity. We are a small lodge that pride ourselves in a friendly atmosphere whilst raising funds for the many local charities and worthy causes as well as contributing to wider national Masonic appeals.
We would be delighted to welcome you to our Lodge. Freemasonry means different things, for some it is about making new friends and acquaintances and for others it is about being able to help deserving causes, contributing to family and society but for most, it is an enjoyable hobby.
